This policy describes how NEXUS Aegis handles subscription payments, cancellations, and refund requests. Please read it carefully before subscribing.
Subscription payments
NEXUS Aegis operates on a recurring subscription model. When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are charged in advance for the selected billing period — monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file at the start of each renewal period until you cancel.
All subscription fees are stated inclusive of any applicable taxes at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store card details on our servers.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@nexusaegis.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to your plan features until that date.
Cancellation prevents future charges. It does not automatically generate a refund for the current period. Non-use of the platform during an active subscription period does not by itself constitute grounds for a refund.
Our general position on refunds
Because NEXUS Aegis provides immediate access to the platform upon payment — including live data feeds, AI analysis tools, and all plan features — subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has commenced.
This reflects the nature of digital access services: the value of the subscription is made available immediately, and costs are incurred regardless of whether you actively use the platform during the period.
Circumstances where refunds may be considered
While we do not offer refunds as a matter of routine, we review requests on a case-by-case basis. Circumstances that may be considered include:
- Billing errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount or charged after cancellation was confirmed, we will correct the error and issue a refund for the overcharge.
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
- Extended platform unavailability: If the platform experienced significant downtime affecting a material portion of your billing period due to our infrastructure failures — not including scheduled maintenance or third-party data provider issues.
- Exceptional circumstances: Where a refund request arises from circumstances that are genuinely exceptional and not covered by normal cancellation terms, we will review these at our discretion.
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge in question. Requests submitted after this window will not be considered.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate compared to equivalent monthly billing. This discount reflects the commitment for the full year. If you cancel an annual subscription partway through the year, a refund for the unused portion is not automatically available, but you may contact us to discuss the circumstances.
How to request a refund
To submit a refund request, email support@nexusaegis.io with the subject line “Refund request — [your account email]”. Include the date of the charge, the amount, and a brief explanation of the reason for your request. We aim to respond within two business days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated to active subscribers before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
